Webfactory launched in Cape Town, South Africa in 1997. Since then, our portfolio has grown to include websites for local and international companies, spanning five continents.

Olmeca Tequila www.olmeca.co.za Webfactory in association with Echo PR proudly won the pitch for the new Olmeca Tequila website. This multi-dimensional site includes a social networking component, promotions for upcoming events and parties, competitions, sports sponsorship information, as well as product info for both the standard and premium product ranges. Slick Flash animation is combined with a dark, moody colour palette to create a sensual and visually appealing website. Development work by Nitric Industries.
Marc Lottering www.marclottering.com \| client comment Welcome to the world of Marc Lottering, a fun and interactive site for one of South Africa’s favourite stand-up comedians. Featuring all the favourite characters such as Aunty Merle, Smiley, Colleen the cashier, Pastor Brandon, and of course the big hair and purely South African sense of humour of Marc Lottering himself. Extensive use of Flash animation and sound clips.
LawUnlocked www.lawunlocked.co.za Webfactory created a crisp, clean website for LawUnlocked - an innovative system to create custom contracts online. We designed the corporate identity, website look & feel, as well as PDF document layouts. We worked closely with the development team to implement this complex website, which includes a fully secure online payment system.
2010 Western Cape www.wcape2010.co.za We won the tender to develop the Western Cape Provincial Government’s official 2010 FIFA World Cup™ website. Using an extensive Joomla content management system, the site includes a countdown clock, flash map and loads of info regarding the wonderful Western Cape. Content was written by Development Works.
Prosirius www.prosirius.co.za Prosirius is a superb example of a product driven website done correctly. Combining Flash and HTML, these high end communications products are displayed in their full glory, while still maintaining a slick, technological feel.
Cape Town Tourism Member Site www.capetown.travel/member This JOOMLA platform website is clear, concise and gives our Cape Town Tourism members another reason to be proud of the Cape. We worked closely with CTT's marketing and membership team to ensure the new corporate branding was conveyed throughout the website.
Knysna Lifestyle Estate www.kle.co.za Uniquely planned and designed to meet the luxury lifestyle needs for the discerning mature market, a new 250-unit project, Knysna Lifestyle Estate, is being developed in a prime location overlooking the Knysna lagoon. The website includes an interactive site plan with downloadable floor plans for each unit. Flash animation is used throughout to add movement and life to the website.
Symphonia www.symphonia.net \| client comment Symphonia is focused on developing leadership skills in South Africa through inspiring and insightful speakers such as Ben Zander. The website opens by illustrating the 'radiating possibility' message. The extensive website is uncluttered and sorted into three main colour-coded categories for easy navigation. Some pages use subtle Flash animation to further simplify navigation. Inspiring quotes are randomly displayed in the header panel.
Margaret's House www.mhouse.org.za \| client comment Webfactory provides pro bono services to Margaret's House, a children's home in Lansdowne, Cape Town. The home accommodates up to 20 children from troubled families who are at risk of becoming street children. The website has a fresh and modern feel, with the facility to make online donations. Webfactory also designs regular e-newsletters and invitations for Margaret's House.

The animated introduction illustrates the key areas of discipline through technical drawings which come to life... Nearly 70 individual projects are featured using a “fly-out” menu system in Flash making navigation easy and intuitive. An elegant solution to a potentially complex problem.
Event Interiors www.eventinteriors.co.za Event Interiors is a creative company which specialises in the design and coordination of weddings and corporate functions. The website is a visual feast, with extensive use of photography, giving prospective clients many décor and design ideas. Colours are rich and sophisticated.
Cape MIC www.capemic.co.za Cape MIC is an autonomous body which seeks to promote the music industry in the Western Cape. We’ve recently launched the second version of this website. Having been there since Cape MIC started out, we are their general IT consultants and “web guys”. We implemented this website quick sticks with quirky flash animation. Designed by Carin Nguz.

Centre for Conflict Resolution ccrweb.ccr.uct.ac.za \| client comment The Centre for Conflict Resolution required a content management system (CMS) to enable their staff to maintain their website effortlessly and from anywhere in the world. Webfactory won the tender for this project and delivered a website which is fresh and vibrant, while being content rich and easy to navigate.
Coronation Fund Managers www.coronation.com \| client comment Developed for the highly-rated fund management group, Coronation, this has been one our most extensive projects to date. We created a complex and unique content management system (CMS) using ASP and SQL, enabling Coronation staff to update the hundreds of pages of the dynamic website in-house.
Y Account www.yaccount.com Y Account is an innovative online expense and accounting product aimed at the European Super Yacht community. We had to design a promotional website as well as add a bit of design nous to the backend admin panel developed by our partners Nitric Industries.
Context Consulting www.context.co.za \| client comment Context offers social psychology solutions to help people and organisations function more successfully. The design illustrates the ‘context’ concept using interactive illusions which have been animated in Flash.
Urban Wave www.urbanwave.co.za \| client comment Based on the success of www.twentybrand.com, we were awarded the Urban Wave contract by the same parent company. Urban Wave is a party platform for a young urban target market, who apply for invitations to upcoming events in Cape Town, Joburg and Durban featuring local and international DJs. The site includes music downloads, online competitions, e-mailers and SMS interactivity. After each event, photos and videos are uploaded to the online galleries. The design incorporates lots of Flash animation, sound and contemporary styling.
Jacques Kallis www.kallis.co.za Jacques Kallis is an international cricketing icon to millions of fans around the world. His unflappable temperament has been a hallmark of his success. The website’s key focus is to promote the work of the Jacques Kallis Foundation as it helps talented cricketers receive the best education whilst pursuing their sporting ambitions.
Rondebosch School www.rondebosch.com \| client comment Extensive website totalling over 200 pages. The design reflects the school colours and has a fresh, contemporary feel. The website consists of four sub-sites, one for each entity of the Rondebosch family, i.e. Little Bosch, Rondebosch Preparatory, Rondebosch High and the Old Boys’ Union. News, calendars and galleries are updated via our bespoke content management tools.
Banff Mountain Film World Tour www.banff.co.za A mini-site for the annual Banff Mountain Film World Tour which showcases the talents of the world’s finest mountain filmmakers. The look is rugged and outdoorsy, adventurous and sporty.
Dr Mark Tunbridge, Mia Boon & Associates www.psychologymatters.co.za \| client comment Dr Mark Tunbridge, Mia Boon & Associates is a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists in Cape Town providing general psychology services to the community. The website is welcoming and accessible, with occasional use of Flash animation.

The Surge Show www.webfactory.co.za/thesurgeshow The Surge Show is targeted at the teenage market, and we designed a very graphic website using cutting edge urban design, creating a spraypaint effect with lots of quirky flash animations and sound effects. This is an ongoing project.
Thesele www.thesele.co.za A highly acclaimed BEE financial services group led by an accomplished team. Webfactory designed another clean looking site, as with many of our financial services clients, and we assisted with the information architecture. We met quite a tight deadline yet again.
Cape Town Vacations www.capetownvacations.co.za An elegant site which showcases the client’s tastefully decorated vacation houses. We used a bit of flash animation to create a sense of movement within the website.
Bacardi 'Pimp My Mojito' Campaign www.bacardimojito.co.za A slightly off the wall competition for Bacardi, targeting bartenders, who can win prizes by submitting their 'pimped' mojito recipes via the website. Created in conjunction with Nitric Industries, the site has a complex back-end engine.
Headsets SA www.headsetssa.co.za \| client comment Headsets SA supplies headsets to the ever-expanding call centre market and corporate clients throughout southern Africa. The site was created in conjunction with Ignition Design & Advertising.
Nelson Mandela Museum www.nelsonmandelamuseum.org.za We are extremely proud to have won the tender to produce the website of the Nelson Mandela Museum. This official website offers an inspiring, interactive journey through the life of the much-loved 'Madiba' - a man who has strived to bring about a better life for all.
Eisenberg & Associates www.migratesa.com This website for specialist immigration attorneys, Eisenberg & Associates, incorporates a Flash-based menu and quirky header. The colour palette is muted, highlighting the corporate blue.
EnAct International www.enact-international.com EnAct International works with governments, environmental protection agencies, international organisations and NGOs to develop legislation which promotes ecologically sustainable societies. The design is corporate and slick, but not cold.
Ana Balat Capital Management Limited www.anabalat.com Ana Balat is a boutique investment firm which required a stylish website, in keeping with its up-market clientele. Webfactory also designed the corporate identity.
Montrose Asset Management www.montroseasset.com Montrose Asset Management Limited, based in Guernsey, is the investment advisory arm of Trident Trust. We developed a bespoke content management system, and the entire project was rolled out in record time. Newsletters are distributed automatically via the website. Users access sensitive information on investments via a secure login. Created in conjunction with Cohen Branding, the look is minimalist and uncluttered.
Rodwell House www.rodwellhouse.co.za A new 5-star guest house located in the seaside village of St James, Cape Town. The website reflects the opulent nature of Rodwell House, where luxury is redefined.
Sygnia Asset Management www.sygnia.co.za A corporate website with a twist - X-ray photography is combined with stark black and white to create a visually exciting site for Sygnia, a financial services company owned and run by Magda Wierzycka. Corporate identity designed by Firedog Design, UK.
Jarat Tours www.jarattours.co.za Jarat Tours offers private luxury tours and chauffeur services around Cape Town. We designed their fresh, new logo and a website to match, incorporating lots of inspiring photography.
CARISA: Cancer Research Initiative of South Africa www.carisa.org.za We developed a customised Content and Documentation Management system bringing together cancer researchers in a professional and collaborative space. The back-end administration allows for a peer-reviewed editorial process and automated distribution of e-mailers. Microscopic cancer cells were used as a design element.
Slick Boutique www.slickonline.co.za \| client comment Monthly e-newsletters for fashion boutique, Slick, reflecting the latest global fashion trends. The look is vibrant and colourful. We handle the e-mail distribution via our Webfactory News Network (WNN) system.
Columbit www.columbit.biz We created a contemporary website for a company which was established over 70 years ago. Columbit supplies consumables and equipment to the wine, food and beverage industries. The site includes sub-sites for the holding company and divisions within South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Maserumule Group www.masconsulting.co.za \| client comment Maserumule Group offers human resources, labour law and litigation services. A simple layout with a blue and grey colour palette was in keeping with the client’s brand.
Cape Gate Crescent www.capegatecrescent.co.za A brochure-style website for a new mixed-use property development which is part of the Cape Gate precinct in Brackenfell. The site includes an interactive site plan and various computer renderings.

Gay Unity Abroad www.gayunityabroad.com With an enlightened Constitution, world-class accommodation, spectacular scenery and excellent value for money, South Africa and Cape Town in particular is fast becoming the destination of choice for gay couples wishing to tie the knot. The website uses tasteful photography and cool colours to show the splendour of the Cape of Good Hope.
Viking Sportswear www.vikingsports.co.za In support of the local garment industry, we designed a website for one of the only sports clothing manufacturing companies in South Africa. Essentially a showcase for their products, the site is quick to load and simple to navigate.

African Centre for Cities www.acc.uct.ac.za We enjoy projects where we can help our continent. The African Centre for Cities is the only interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to understanding African urban development. We designed the corporate identity as well as the website which is influenced by clean architectural lines and contains West African symbolism.
Libra Bathrooms www.librabath.co.za Manufacturers and exporters of acrylic bathroomware, including the Philippe Starck range. The site makes extensive use of Flash.

Border Rural Committee (BRC) www.brc21.co.za The BRC is a non-governmental organisation working towards pro-poor rural development in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. BRC staff update the website using our in-house content management system. This website has been selected as one of the top ten NGO websites of the year.
Festival of Africa www.festivalofafrica.com Our first Australian website, this website promotes a festival which will showcase African arts and culture and raise the profile and understanding of Africa in Australia though theatre, dance, music and community events.

Leopard Antiques www.leopardantiques.com Specialising in antique silverware, this website uses beautiful photography to show each piece of silver in great detail, with pricing in four currencies. We created the corporate identity and designed the look and functionality of the website, with the development and content management system by Nitric Industries.
District Six Museum www.districtsix.co.za The District Six Museum commemorates this vibrant area on the outskirts of Cape Town, which was razed to the ground during the 1960's in keeping with the Apartheid government's racist policies. The site features an interactive Flash timeline.
Bioventures www.bioventures.co.za Bioventures is South Africa's first niche Biotechnology venture capital fund. The website incorporates dramatic microscopic photography combined with a clinical and modern look and feel.
New Resolution Geophysics www.nrgex.co.za\| previous design NRG is an airborne geophysical contractor specialising in helicopter borne surveys in Africa. We recently revamped and relaunched their website with some tasteful Flash to accentuate this technical yet visually interesting look.

TreatColic.com www.treatcolic.com This website uses streaming video to help parents with the treatment of colic. The website has a mini content management system (CMS) enabling the client to update the website in-house. Payments are handled using PayPal.
Ferryman's Tavern www.ferrymans.co.za Ferryman's is an institution in Cape Town, offering beers from around the world and tradition pub fare to loyal patrons and tourists alike. The website design reflects the warm atmosphere of the tavern using a contemporary style.

After completing the Jacques Kallis website, the South African Cricketers' Association asked us to tackle their website. We assisted with developing a clear site structure and designed an impressive first phase website.
Stonehurst Close www.stonehurstclose.co.za Part of the new Stonehurst Mountain Estate on the slopes of Steenberg Mountain, Stonehurst Close is a contemporary housing development with a focus on good architecture and design. Urban Wave www.urbanwave.co.za \| client comment Based on the success of www.twentybrand.com, we were awarded the Urban Wave contract by the same parent company. Urban Wave is a party platform for a young urban target market, who apply for invitations to upcoming events in Cape Town, Joburg and Durban featuring local and international DJs. The site includes music downloads, online competitions, e-mailers and SMS interactivity. After each event, photos and videos are uploaded to the online galleries. The design incorporates lots of Flash animation, sound and contemporary styling.
Jacques Kallis www.kallis.co.za Jacques Kallis is an international cricketing icon to millions of fans around the world. His unflappable temperament has been a hallmark of his success. The website’s key focus is to promote the work of the Jacques Kallis Foundation as it helps talented cricketers receive the best education whilst pursuing their sporting ambitions.
Rondebosch School www.rondebosch.com \| client comment Extensive website totalling over 200 pages. The design reflects the school colours and has a fresh, contemporary feel. The website consists of four sub-sites, one for each entity of the Rondebosch family, i.e. Little Bosch, Rondebosch Preparatory, Rondebosch High and the Old Boys’ Union. News, calendars and galleries are updated via our bespoke content management tools.
